The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, open to youth aged 14 to 25, challenges young people in four areas: Community Service, Skill Development, Physical Fitness and Adventurous Journey. By completing the requirements of each section, our youth become active, healthy and involved, which is essential for their future and the future of our community.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award was founded by His Royal Highness, The Prince Philip to encourage personal development and community involvement for young people. Since its establishment in Canada in 1963, more than 500,000 young Canadians have taken the challenge, which has Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
